Just installed today and immediately noticed how much easier it is to align the doors as these are taller than the factory alignment pin, and you don’t have to fuss with taking out the alignment pin and resetting it on each door.
While installing the perm guide pins my door slipped and fell on the edge and damaged it.
Sooo… for $40 I’ve scored several hundred dollars in door repairs.
When we all purchased our Bronco's Ford gave us this fantastic little door guide pin tool in our tool kits. This thing is such a pain in the ass, not to mention the fact that it is so small that it can literally be lost at the drop of a hat. I stumbled on the EX4X4 website by shear accident and noticed this guide kit they offer. I was super intrigued to say the least. I pulled the trigger and I purchased a set of them for the four door option. This kit is easy to install, it eliminates two different products the lower door hinge bolt as well as the ever so popular (not) guide pin supplied by Ford. It gives you piece of mind in removal and reinstallation of the Bronco doors without having to worry about damaging your doors, or trying to forever get them to seat on the lower hinge location. All in all this is a great product and I would highly recommend the product to be used.
Makes putting the doors on much easier.
