1997 & Up Jeep Wrangler 4DR/2DR Hard Top Remover Lift

This tool has made removing and replacing the hard top on my jeep very easy for one person to do on their own. What convinced me to get this specific one is the fact that it collapses for storage.

Love my hardtop remover lift! It makes it extremely easy to remove the top/ put it back on, and I love being able to store it on the lift. I’ve had my jeep for about 7 years and rarely take the top off because it’s a two person job and I always had to store it on the ground. I’ve had the top off more since Ive gotten the lift than ever before and I love that I can do it by myself!

I love this lift. Absolutely love it.

I’ll start with the bad for someone with limited tools, time, and strength as a 50 year old out of shape woman. There is a lot to do to put it together. I wasn’t able to build it with the tools that came with it and my limited strength. It took me 4 hours over 2 days. I watched 3 different videos, including the one that came with it.

But!! Once I had the proper tools - this thing is solid!!! I was able to pop the roof off and roll it into my very low ceiling garage all by myself!!! I felt like a superhero pushing that thing. It stores perfectly and I can even still get the Jeep in the garage. This is so worth it. Definitely get the EZ flip attachment, too. It is a great system!

Love it!! Makes taking the top off so easy! I put it together myself and I can take the top off myself! My only suggestion would be to use better wheels on the bottom. Rolling it across macadam with some gravel isn’t the easiest with the current wheels included.

Great quality product! I wish I bought this sooner! Assembly instructions were easy to follow and the unit is very sturdy! Zero issues putting it together and using it! Was worried at first due to how heavy the hard top is, but no fear of parking the jeep underneath to save with garage space!

I was very excited to remove my JK Wrangler top for the first time this Summer. I liked being able to remove the top myself so decided to purchase this lift. I have to say that I was very impressed with the product. It makes removal a snap and I didn't even need to rent a storage unit since you can drive the Jeep under the top. This is a definite "buy" from me!

Easy to assemble and made with quality parts. I bought this because I have an ’06 LJ and a ’22 JL, and your site says it will lift TJ hardtops from ’97 through current JL models. My only concern was that while an LJ is technically a TJ, its roof is longer and heavier. That said, the lift works beautifully on both the LJ and JL hardtops. My LJ top is also Rhino-lined, so it’s carrying extra weight, and the lift still handled it with zero issues. It’s actually more stable than I expected.

Way better than the competitors. Setup was easy and straight forward for the most part. Would have liked the handle by the gear, no clue why that was removed. Definitely glad I went with EZ4x4.

We received our hardtop lift recently and wanted to share how awesome it is. It is very simple to use and worked just as the company described it. It’s is definitely the easiest method we have ever used to remove a hardtop. It will also prevent potential scratches or damages to our jeep by removing and replacing the hardtop manually. We are very happy with our purchase.

Have used this 4 times in total. Assembly was fairly simple using the printed instructions and the available video. Top removal for our 4 Door Bronco could not be easier. Rack is slightly bouncy while top is on it, but extremely secure, there is no fear of the top falling or sliding off. We have a 1-2” drop into the garage from the driveway that has been no issue.

Built and finally used this lift on my JL this weekend. Works perfectly smooth, No issues or concerns when lifting or re-installing hard top.
Will try it on my 2023 Bronco wildtrack Hard top soon.

I went with this lift over the a different brand that was all green due to the design of the lifting mechanism. This lift, with a crank style, removes the top smoothly and doesn’t require body weight to get the top off. Very easy to use. However, (cause there is always a but…) the instructions were not at all easy to follow. I ended up using and following along with the video to build it found on the website. It was very helpful, until the builder just starts referring to “grab the bolt, and put it in here.” There are at least 3 different bolt lengths and I found myself having to go back to the difficult instructions and then translating what the video was saying and the instructions called for. Also, the design has changed a bit since the video was made as there were preassembled components that the video called for assembling. Overall, it was an inconvenient build process, but the end result is still worth the struggle. I now finally have the ability to quickly enjoy the weather, while not having to run and hide away from storms. All in all, after the first time learning how it fits under the top, I can have the top completely off in 15-20 minutes and back on nearly as fast.

I absolutely love it. I can take the top off in a few mins and store it until needed.

Assembly was fairly easy with good instructions. I absolutely love this product so far. Heavy duty and top comes off very easily in minutes.

Very sturdy and pretty easy to put together. Only downside is having to finagle around the rear door and spare tire when removing and reinstalling the top. But im sure I’ll figure out a system.
